Marienkirche

14/07/2009

The St. Mary’s Church is one of the oldest churches in Berlin, and was first mentioned in 1292. Located at the district of Mitte, in the central area of the town, it was severely damaged during World War II bombings. It was restored and brought back to its original conditions during the 1950’s, when the region where it is located was part of East Berlin, former East Germany.
