Santo Antonio de Lisboa

31/08/2009

Santo Antonio de Lisboa is a historic district in Florianópolis, capital of the state of Santa Catarina, south of Brazil. It was one of the first districts of Florianópolis to be colonized by the Azorean immigrants in the end of 18th century.

It has many buildings in Portuguese colonial architecture style, and receives a lot of tourists all long the year. The calm and beautiful beach in this neighborhood is a perfect place to watch the sunset, and there are also lots of restaurants and bars along the coastline. It is distant from downtown about 15 km.
