Ubatuba Fish Market

07/10/2009

Ubatuba is a well known tourist city on the north coast of the state of São Paulo, southeast of Brazil, mainly because of its lovely beaches. But like most of the small tourist cities on the coast of Brazil, it has some peculiar places that attract those visitors who like to go inside the cultural issues of the town. This is the case of the Ubatuba Fish Market.

Although its small size, this open market has a great variety of seafood. The vendors are always joking with each other and with the clients, what gives a familiar and cordial atmosphere to the place. It is runned by a fishermen colony and all the products sold there are fresh and cheap. A nice place to visit and to buy some seafood when visiting Ubatuba
